Hiring a lawyer is like trying to hire any other employee. You want
someone who has experience doing what you want him or her to do and
have a record of success at it. If you are looking for someone to
represent you on a criminal or personal injury case, I have many
years of doing that and a record of outstanding success. In 1982, I
got a verdict of $425,000 for a 10% impairment in Ouachita County
which was four times the county record for any verdict. In 1988 I got
a jury verdict for $1.7 million for the wrongful death of a
child which I understand from an officer of the Association of Trial
Lawyers of America was the highest verdict for wrongful death of a
child in the country at the time. In 1994 I got a jury verdict of
$3.1 million for a battery which the Arkansas Democrat Gazette listed
as one of the of highest 10 verdicts for the year in this county. In
2002 I got a jury verdict of $6.8 million for a beating which led to
a death of an unborn child and that verdict was reported in the
National Law Journal. I am driven not only by money but by a desire
to make the world a better, fairer place which can come from making
the bad guys pay the good folks for hurting them. Let me do this kind
of job for you.
